The Story
No guests, no seating plan, no speeches. June and Alex drove out to a private meadow with an officiant, a photographer and a bouquet of field flowers — and married each other as the light turned to honey.
The challenge was timing: golden hour in June lasts minutes, and the meadow was forty minutes from the licence office. We ran the day backwards from sunset, with a weather scout on call from noon.
The result was the simplest wedding we have ever produced — and one of the most photographed. They honeymooned the next morning; the certificates arrived before the tan lines faded.
“Just us, the field, and the light. It was the bravest and easiest decision we ever made.”
