The Story
Priya and Sam handed us a feeling — “golden, loud, barefoot after midnight” — and a guest list of 120. Fourteen months later, a palm grove outside Charleston held a ceremony under a nine-metre floral canopy, dinner at three thirty-metre tables, and a dance floor that never emptied.
The challenge was heat: a 4pm August ceremony in the South. We shifted vows to 6:30, stationed iced towels and parasols, and chose blooms that thrive in warmth — garden roses, orchids and clouds of jasmine.
The result was a wedding guests still talk about: a surprise fireworks finale, a midnight biscuit bar, and a couple who never once checked the time.
“Copperfern didn't plan our wedding — they translated us. Every corner felt like home.”
